Pressing the index letter moves to the page
listed. Any other letter moves to the index.
Help is context sensitive where appropriate.

The Directory Window
══════════════════════
The cursor up and cursor down keys move the
highlighted bar between files.
The PgUp and PgDn keys scroll one page of
files. Ctrl PgUp moves to the top of the
directory. Ctrl PgDn moves to the end
of the directory.

The Directory Window - continued
────────────────────────────────
Typing alphabetic characters starts a search
for any directory listing beginning with the
letter typed. If the sort order is EXT, the
first letter of the file extension is used.
Successive characters find the next match
until there are no matches from the current
position to the end of the listing.

Key Definition Window
═══════════════════════
The first window shows the Control key
functions. The second window shows the Alt
key and function key functions.
Press F4 to switch between the windows.

Control Key Functions
═════════════════════
To use any of the Ctrl key functions, press
the Ctrl key and the corresponding key at
the same time.
The ^ symbol represents the Ctrl key. The
Esc key and Ctrl Esc key sequence are used
to abort functions. See Aborting Functions.

Note: If no files are marked, the command
is performed on the file or directory under
the cursor.
If a number of files are marked, the program
cycles through them until they are all
processed or the function is aborted.

Alt Keys Functions
════════════════════
To use the Alt key functions, press
and hold the Alt key and press the key
shown before the function.
Alt M = Mark all files in directory
Alt U = Unmark all files in directory

Aborting Functions
════════════════════
The Esc key is used to exit all functions
and to abort batch operations on multiple
marked files.
Ctrl Esc aborts batch rename, attribute
edit, edit time and date, and view file.
Files not processed remain marked.

^A = Edit file Attributes (HRSA)
H = Hidden R = Read Only
S = System A = Archive
Press H, R, S, or A to toggle the
attributes.

!Copy
^C = Copy current or marked file(s)
Enter target {[drive][\path][.ext]}. Do not
enter a filename. The drive, path, and
extension are all optional, but at least one
must be specified. Entering an extension
renames the files as they are copied.

^D = Delete current or marked file(s)
or delete directory under cursor.
Press enter to confirm your intention to
delete the file(s). Press Esc to abort
deletion. Directories must be empty to
delete.

!Execute
^E = Execute DOS command
Execute any standard DOS command. Do not
run a program which remains in memory.
Execute is aborted when enter is pressed
on a blank line or when Esc is pressed.

^F = Change File specification
The file specification determines which
files are listed in the directory window.
Wildcards may be used. Entering *.bak
would limit the directory entries to files
with a .bak extension. See your DOS manual
for more information on wildcards.

^G = Goto drive or directory
Makes the drive or directory under the
highlighted cursor bar the new default. The
current directory is read and displayed. To
move to a higher directory, select <PARENT>
at the top of the listing.

^L = List directory to printer
Sends a copy of the current directory to the
printer. A header is printed on each page
with the current path, page number, date,
number of files, sort order, and total
number of bytes in the directory.

^M = Mark file under cursor
Marks the file under the highlighted cursor
bar for batch operations. When a Ctrl
function is selected, the program cycles
through the marked files until they are all
processed or the function is aborted.

^O = mOve current or marked file(s)
Enter target {[drive][\path][.ext]}. Do not
enter a filename. The drive, path, and
extension are all optional, but at least one
must be specified. Entering an extension

files are deleted after a successful copy.

Print text files to 255 columns by 500 pages.
A header is printed on every page, including
the filename, the date, the time, and the
page number.

Edit or accept the filename under the
highlighted cursor bar. Then edit or accept
the extension. Ctrl End clears the line and
Ctrl Home restores the original entry.

Edit the date and time using standard
editing keys. Invalid entries will be
rejected and the original entry restored.

View text files to 255 columns by 500 pages.
Valid keys are: PgDn, PgUp, Esc - next file,

Write verify
══════════════
The F2 key toggles the state of the DOS
write verify flag which determines whether
disk write operations are verified as they
are written. This applies to the Copy and
Move functions in the Directory.
Disk writes are slower with write verify
on but integrity of the data is ensured.
